This CME-certified interactive video series invites you to sit in the driver's seat and make choices on best-practice approaches to reducing cardiorenal risk in people with type 2 diabetes and chronic kidney disease (CKD).
NOTE: This educational activity is intended for an international audience of non-US and non-UK HCPs.
By taking part in the interactive video series, you will learn about CKD screening and staging in people with type 2 diabetes, how CKD is linked to other comorbidities and the importance of a holistic approach to management. Moreover, you will have hands-on practice in the application of recommendations for reducing cardiorenal risk, and learn about the randomized trial data supporting the guidelines.
You must complete all the sections of this online course to be awarded the IDF “Certificate of Completion” and one European CME credit.
The European Accreditation Council accredits this online course for Continuing Medical Education (EACCME). 1 European CME credit (ECMEC®) will be awarded on successful completion of this course.
Through an agreement between the European Union of Medical Specialists (UEMS) and the American Medical Association (AMA), physicians may convert EACCME credits to an equivalent number of AMA PRA Category 1 CreditsTM.
